Overview
Cape Froward is the southernmost point in the American Continent. It is located south of Brunswick Peninsula and 90 km south of Punta Arenas city. We combine trekking with wildlife, southern wind, a navigation on the Magellan Strait, contemplation of inmensity and silence. Along the 42 km of hiking you will appreciate pristine landscapes, where subantactic forests, diversity of fauna, beaches, bays surrounded by mountainous cords and some marine species will be protagonists of this great experience. Froward means "difficult to deal with", named by that the English Corsair Thomas Cavendish, in due to his many attempts to sail these rough waters, some failed attempts because of the characteristic strong winds blowing in Magallanes Region.
