Historical Cultural Tour
To finish the excursion, we will find out about intimate details of the local his- tory. Our guided tour is an invitation to discover an authentic Patagonian estancia, with its typical architectural style and 100-year-old original buildings, representative of Patagonia’s cultural heritage.
Here at Cerro Guido, we preserve the traditions that define the essence of Pa- Patagonia: visiting our estancia is a unique opportunity to learn about the daily life of our people dedicated to farming and sheep breeding, who have maintained their traditional way of living and working.
Our visit begins in the administration house hall. We will have a half-hour introduction to place us on the map of the area and to understand estancia life within the historical context of Patagonia, strongly linked to the development of extensive sheep farming.
Estancia Experience
Afterwards, we will participate in the typical activities of estancia life. In the stables, we will have the opportunity to learn more about the horses and their care. Next, in our organic garden, we will harvest the vegetables used in the kitchen and collect eggs from free-range chickens.
