Embark on a captivating 4-day, 3-night adventure and delve into the natural wonders of the Puelo River in Northern Patagonia. Traverse through stunning landscapes of lakes, forests, and mountains, as the turquoise waters of the Puelo River carve a path of beauty. Discover the tranquility of Refugio Tawa, where nature thrives in harmony with the Puelo River, offering a serene retreat amidst the breathtaking scenery. *Program in Double base.
Itinerary
Transport: 3 hours / Accommodation: Private Room / Meals: lunch and dinner.
If you are traveling from Santiago, we recommend taking the early morning flight to catch your transportation to the Refugio. Although the journey takes 3 hours, it feels quite fast due to the variety of landscapes and scenery that you will see, gradually leading you into the depths of Patagonia. The idea is to arrive at the Refugio in time for lunch, check-in (15:00), and enjoy the afternoon in this beautiful landscape. In the afternoon, we will meet with the team of guides to choose the experience for the following day.

Navigate through the turquoise waters of the Puelo River or Lake Tagua Tagua, starting from the refuge. Immerse yourself in the most attractive natural wonders of the area.
Lifestyle
For those seeking relaxation and enjoyment, experience a sunrise with views of the Reloncaví estuary from natural hot springs. Sail through the waters of Lake Tagua Tagua and the Puelo River, or enjoy the magic of a day on a secluded beach, disconnected from the rest of the world.

On your last day, we suggest starting with a hearty breakfast at our refuge, enjoying a beautiful view of Lake Tagua Tagua and savoring every moment of nature that this place has to offer. Check-out is scheduled for 12:00 noon. On your departure day, we recommend connecting with another nearby destination such as Las Termas del Sol or Ensenada, or with the beautiful city of Puerto Varas. There are many things to see along the way!

Starting place
If you added the extra transportation to your program, the starting point of your program would be the pickup location, such as Puerto Montt Airport (El Tepual). Otherwise, your program begins when you check-in at the refuge.
