Itinerary

We begin our adventure with a transfer from Calama to San Pedro de Atacama. Visit to Valle de la Luna, a prominent spot in the Cordillera de la Sal. Tour the imposing "duna mayor," the amphitheater, the rock formations known as the Tres Marías, and the Piedra del Coyote (Kari) lookout, where we will enjoy the sunset in front of the majestic Andes Mountains, accompanied by a cocktail.

We will take a guided hike through the beautiful canyon of the Vilama River, where we can admire an extensive forest of cactus and a unique rock formation surrounding the area. This site is also of great cultural and archaeological significance, ideal for those who want to explore the landscape of the Atacama pre-puna.
In the afternoon, we will head to Laguna Cejar, where we will enjoy the "Laguna Piedra," a place where high salinity makes people float. Then, at Laguna Tebinquiche, we will see the Andean volcanoes reflected in this natural sanctuary. Finally, we will stop at Ojos del Salar to admire this incredible landscape of two hills with the Andes Mountains in the background.

At 5,604 meters above sea level, one of the most accessible volcanoes for ascension rises. Located just a few minutes by vehicle from San Pedro de Atacama, it offers unique conditions for those who wish to climb a volcano for the first time. From the summit, you can see part of the Bolivian altiplano, Laguna Blanca and Verde, the array of antennas of the A.L.M.A. observatory, and the panoramic view of the Salar de Atacama basin.

Located 70 km southwest of San Pedro de Atacama, one of the most interesting volcanoes for climbers is found. Located at almost 5,600 meters above sea level, it is one of the most popular due to its visible activity and the beauty of the landscape along the route, which allows for the observation of high-altitude fauna, along with a mandatory stop at the impressive Laguna Lejía.
