Overview
Estancia Experience offers an opportunity for people of all backgrounds to enjoy and discover life on a Patagonian ranch. From the comfort of our home, you can savor traditional meals, engage in incredible adventure activities, and connect with locals who will share their knowledge, making this an authentic and high-quality experience.
With an area of around 4,000 hectares, we have ample space to explore and learn firsthand about livestock farming and tourism, all while striving to minimize our environmental impact. Our ranch, situated in a transitional zone between the Patagonian channels and the pampas, allows us to enjoy a great diversity of ecosystems.
This program can be tailored in various ways, allowing you to choose your preferred activity and/or combine a series of activities over two days. We can also extend the stay to create a special program. At the ranch, we offer horseback riding, trekking, and 4x4 tours, as well as the possibility to arrange mountain biking and kayaking.

We start in the morning with a boat ride from Puerto Natales up the Last Hope fjord to reach what will be our home for the next two days. Our activities begin by exploring the coast and learning about the distinct ecosystems found in the estancia such as the southern beech forest and marine coast. Lunch is served in a typical Patagonian hut and afterwards we explore archeological sites of the Kawesqar, the indigenous people of the region. Afterwards we return to the estancia to drink an afternoon mate (a strong loose leaf tea) and have some down time before our dinner of grilled meats and delicious chilean wine.
After a good night’s rest we wake up to a hearty breakfast to prepare us for another day of activities, which were planned the night before with our guide. Upon finishing the activities we arrive back to the main estancia house by midday to enjoy a delicious lamb barbeque (asado al palo). Afterwards you will see a demonstration of our sheep dogs working and the shearing of a sheep before navigating back to Puerto Natales.
